We offer trenchless sewer line replacement. 2 small holes, 1 at the house and 1 in the street or alley depending on the mainline location. No damage to sidewalks or landscaping and saving you money & disruption versus traditional open trenching when possible.
The following series of photos is a recent complete sewer line replacement using the pipe bursting method.
First we locate the sewer connection at the mainline in the street, pull all the required permits, barracade and excavate down to the mainline
Then we shore up the ditch to prevent injury to the workers, and install a new saddle onto the mainline to ensure a root free line for the future.
In the yard or driveway where the pipe exits the house we dig a second hole to install the bursting machine into which pulls the pipe through the hole which is your existing sewer line now.
Now we run a cable through the line and attach it to the pipe and cutterhead in the street and use hydraulic pressure to pull the new line into the hole that used to be your sewer line. We use HDPE plastic pipe that has an inside diameter of 4" and a wall thickness equal to Sch 40 PVC which is very thick. The pipe itself has a manufacture warranty of 75 years!!!!! Tree roots have no way of getting into this pipe.

And here is the street re-paved and open to traffic the same day we started the job, with sewer service restored in only 8 hours or less!
